Culinary Arts Program

The Culinary Arts Program is completely ladderized where students can upgrade from a 5-month study on the fundamentals of culinary arts leading up to the 2-year Diploma on Culinary Arts and Patisserie.

Baking and Pastry Arts Program

The Baking and Pastry Arts Program is a 10-month program covering 450 hours of classroom and kitchen work, plus 300 hours of industry practicum.  Upon completion of all the requirements, the student is awarded a Certificate in Baking and Pastry Arts.

Second PSCA Culinary Workshop at St. Vincent College, Dipolog City.

Encouraged by the success of the First PSCA Culinary workshop held in October 2008, Dr. Joseph Refugio, Vice President and the HRM Faculty of St Vincent College in Dipolog City organized a second Culinary Workshop on May 13 – 17, 2009. This time , the activities started with a 2-day Baking Workshop conducted by PSCA Chef Anecto Garcia, followed by another 2 days of Culinary Techniques workshop with Chef Hicham Merouane. They were both assisted by PSCA graduate (Batch 10) ,Froilan Jamito, Jr The workshop was attended by HRM students and faculty of St Vincent College and other schools in Dipolog.

PSCA was the only school who slug it out with the hotel heavy weights of Cebu

( Marriott, Marco Polo, Waterfront Lahug and Airport, Imperial Palace, montebello, Cafe Laguna) and came out one of the top sellers for the day.

Ericson Jann Velayo (Batch 8)  is Executive Chef of Diamond Suites and Residence located at   Apitong Street corner Escario Cebu City.

Lani Garcia  (Batch 8, Certificate in Culinary Arts)  who did further studies in baking and pastry  arts at ISCHAM is the LMG Pastry CHEF, who makes delectable  pastries  and beautiful wedding cakes by order.
